From DFM to Mass Production
A reliable silicone component starts before the mold is built.
Our engineering team reviews geometry, wall thickness, sealing features, draft, undercuts, flash requirements, hardness, shrinkage, tolerance, bonding requirements and expected production volume before tooling begins.
This process helps identify manufacturing risks earlier and gives your team a clearer path from prototype validation to stable production.
DFM Review
Geometry, tolerance and production risk assessment.
Material Selection
Hardness, grade and application performance matching.
Mold Design
Prototype or production tooling engineered for repeatability.
Sampling & Validation
T0, T1 and validation samples reviewed against requirements.
Production Approval
Process readiness and quality requirements confirmed.
Mass Production
Molding, inspection, assembly and packaging managed together.

Project planning
Questions before requesting a quote
A few practical details about sampling, production planning, tooling, quality and delivery. Project-specific terms are confirmed in your written quote.
Can I request sample parts before production?
Yes. Rapid prototype tooling can be used to produce sample parts for fit, form and function validation before committing to production tooling. Sample scope, quantity, material and timing are confirmed after review of your drawing or CAD data and requirements.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ is confirmed per project rather than stated as one figure for every part. It depends on the part design, material, tooling and production route. Share your expected order or annual volume so we can include the applicable MOQ in your quote.
How long do sampling and production take?
Timing depends on design review, material availability, tooling scope, validation and order volume. We confirm the proposed sample and production schedule after reviewing your requirements; the applicable milestones are stated in the project quote.
Who owns customer-funded production tooling?
Customer-funded dedicated tooling belongs to the customer after it has been paid for. The project quote confirms the tooling scope and any storage or maintenance arrangements.
What quality checks and records are available?
The quality plan is aligned with the approved drawing and project requirements. Depending on the program, it can include in-process inspection, dimensional verification, statistical process control (SPC), automated inspection and batch traceability documentation. Confirm any required inspection reports or records with us before order approval.
How are finished parts prepared and shipped?
After production and the agreed inspection, parts can receive the specified finishing, marking or assembly and are packaged to the project requirements. We coordinate delivery; the shipping method, destination, applicable trade terms and documentation are confirmed in the quote or order.
